The community youth peace durbar took a different dimension when various dignitaries from all walks of life including youth in and around the Takoradi environs assembled at the Fijai SHS to listen to the message of peace and also participate in the tour programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In attendance were Mr. Damien Aboabayire, the Regional Executive Secretary NPC – WR , Mr. Stephen Cudjoe the RCC Programs Manager, Alhaji Elias K. Gyampson a Regional Peace Council Member , Mr. Kenneth Dotse Agbomadzi, Mrs. Avenie Annor Frederic , all members of the peace council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Others officials present include, the Regional Imam who was represented by Mr. Abdul Rashid, Mr. Anthony Boah, the Western Regional Director of the Youth Authority and his Regional Programs Director Mr. Joseph Clottey were also heavily represented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After listening to Virtual messages from the 2nd<\/sup> Vice Chairman after Christian Council \u2013The Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah, the National Christian Council Chairman, Rt, Rev Paul Kwabena Boafo and the National Chief Imam Sheik Dr Osman Nuhu Sharabutu,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his opening Address, Alhaji Elias K. Gyampson from the Regional Peace Council in Takoradi who happens to be an old student of Fijai SHS  was very thankful to the team for such a course at this time in preaching the message of peace during this period. He reminded the youth that we as a Nation is surrounded by three(3) francophone countries ,and that any instability that will cause us to leave our country will be very disastrous since majority of the Ghanaian populace are not so fluent and do not speak the French language. He further charged the youth to be individual peace ambassadors from their homes, work, church, and mosque and anywhere they find themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The representative of the Regional Imam , Mr. Abdul Rashid  also for a moment before closing prayers were said, spoke to the gathering in the Islamic language advising them not to be used as instruments for war and chaos since the future is in their hands ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Cadet Coordinator General, also the team leader in a Vote of Thanks told the youth that, we want to work hard, make good families, leave legacies for the instability, war and the likes are potentials in derailing these assignments in which we must all be aboard. Ghana is made up of one people and we should live in that manner. All present were satisfied with all their questions answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
