\"WhatsAppThe Greater Accra Regional Cadet Corps on 1st<\/sup> July celebrated the Republic day at the 48 engineer regiment square. The day was marked by selected student cadets across the Greater Accra and Volta Region with a March pass.<\/p>\n

Lt col E k Appiah who was the reviewing officer and was accompanied by Vrt Lt Cdr K Z O Mensah the Greater Accra regional cadet coordinator \u00a0inspected the parade.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Vrt Lt Cdr K Z O Mensah the Regional Cadet Coordinator, he said the day was marked to sell out the knowledge of how important it is for one attaining a Republican Status as upcoming youth of this country.<\/p>\n

The colorful ceremony was \u00a0attended with a total number of 1,025 cadet participants from the various educational institutions that includes.<\/p>\n

  9. Leading Light International (Army Cadet Corps)<\/li>\n
  10. Presec Osu (Naval Cadet Corps)<\/li>\n
  11. Kaneshie Technical SHS (Army Cadet Corps)<\/li>\n
  12. Nungua Snr. High (Airforce Cadet Corps)<\/li>\n
  13. Chemu Snr High (Naval Cadet Corps)<\/li>\n
  14. Tema Technical Institute (Naval Cadet Corps).<\/li>\n

    The following schools emerge as the winners at the end of the programme.<\/p>\n

    2nd – St Mary’s International (Naval Cadet Corps)<\/p>\n

    Other regions also commemorated the event in their respective regions to mark the 1st July day for the youth in Ghana.<\/p>\n
