Ghana hosted an eleven member police cadet corps and boxing ten from Greater Manchester in the United Kingdom for an eight (8) days official exchange programme.
The team which had two young boxers, a coach and boxing leader was led by Inspector Albert Armah Dann They had the opportunity to receive good boxing punches from one of the local boxing gym during some training boxing section. The team ceased the opportunity to renovate the Boxing Gym Atroh Quarshie Boxing before the end of their visit.
The police cadets also had the opportunity to interact with some police cadets where they learnt from each other how police cadets train in various country.
In a visit to the Inspector General of Police Mr. David Asante-Apeatu at the Police Headquarters, he Encouraged the team including the National Cadet Coordinator General Nicholas Nii Tettey-Amarteifio and other dignitaries present. Assistant Commission of Police (ACP) Mr. David S. Eaklu the Director General of Police Public Affairs and a Board member of the Nat. Cadet corps who represented the IGP also exchange gifts with the foreign police cadet team and took the team on a familiarization tour of the Ghana Police Service Headquarters after the presentation.
The team later visited cape coast and some historical sight of Accra.
The team departed Accra to London from their Hotel on 5th November 2018.
