Cadet Junior Under Officer Jaydon Larweh Tettey, a second-year Science student of Achimota Senior High School, served as the Second-In-Command (2IC) for this year’s National Cadet Youth Parade held at the Black Star Square.
The parade marked the 66th Republic Day celebration of the National Cadet Corps. 10,000 student cadets from all 16 regions participated under the theme: “Shaping Disciplined Leaders for a Prosperous and Hopeful Ghana – The Hooliganism Must Stop.” Her Excellency Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, graced the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour and Reviewing Officer.
The parade was commanded by Cadet Senior Under Officer Adela Yayra Princess of the Accra Girls Senior High School Air Force Cadet Corps.
