NAT. SECURITY HOLDS WORKSHOP ON “IF YOU SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING”

As part of the plans to sensitize the youth on how to inform the appropriate authority on bad activity’s in our community, the Ministry of National Security held a one day workshop on Thursday 9th November 2023 at the National Association of Teachers Hall for all Regional Cadet Coordinators, some Key appointment holders and selected representative from Ghana Education Service and TVET.

The training which was on IF YOU SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING was to remind the leaders that terrorism is not an individual matter, It has no political color and as leaders of the corps in various Sector and Region there is the need for us to understand and be able to impact the knowledge unto other. Calling the National toll free line 999 on all networks to repot every thing you see which is not appropriate in your community for appropriate action to be taken is the way to go.

Members had the opportunity to learn for the first time basic things in the community that could lead to something big if early steps are not taken by reporting it to the appropriate authority.

Participants from all the Headquarters, Sector, Regions,  and Education left the workshop with great insight and knowledge on how best we all can SAY SOMETHING WHEN WE SEE SOMETHING by calling 999 on all networks.
