The Headquarters Southern Sector of the National Cadet Corps Ghana which comprising the five regions in the southern part of Ghana that is Greater Accra, Central, Volta, Western and Eastern Region has this morning officially opened the inter Regional drill competition at the Jubilee Park Kofoeidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The computation which brings the best five (5) schools from each of the regions have a total of of twenty four (24) schools with a numerical strength of about one thousand (1,000) participants and officials in attendance.
The opening ceremony was done by ASP Kumedzro S on behalf of the Eastern Regional Police Commander, the Regional PE Coordinator Mr Michael Anim Okoto and the Chief Staff officer of the National Cadet corps Cadet Major Derek Clottey. The reviewing officer advice the contesting schools to show what they have learnt over the period in their respective schools and the region on the square today. He wish them all the best and wish the best school to be the winner.
All school’s cadet corps were dressed in their respective service dress which was equally manifested in their display. All school’s present we’re here with their Master in Charge, Cadet Instruct as well as their evergreen, always and dependable Drivers.
Also present at this event we’re the hard working Regional Cadet Coordinators and their staffs.
All too soon the winner and runner’s up are to be announced as promised after a hectic, straight display of Military Drill, Good Turn out and above all Discipline shown.
