Northern Region Have New Regional Cadet Coordinator

After a successful handing and taking over ceremony of the Northern Regional Cadet Coordinator, at the regional education office where the regional director of education DR. Peter Aptafuah and the National cadet Co-odnator General over see, a six (6) member’ team lead by the National Cadet Coordinator General N.N Tettey-Amarteifio and the Mr Nuhu Kaabo the Northern Regional Directors Representative call on various head of security service in the region to introduce the newly appointed Regional Officer In Charge.

The team visited the Northern Command Headquarters Tamale, the sixth (6th ) Battalion of Infantry, the Air Born Force unit, the Regional Intelligence Bureau, the Regional Police headquarters where they formally introduce the newly appointed Officer In Charge Cadet Lieutenant Ismail Attah Ibrahim of the region. The outgoing Co-ordinator, cadet captain Abdulai Abdul-Kudus was unable to join the team due to some emergency he had to attend to.

The COO of the Northern Command colonel B.B Owusu on behalf of the command advice the new officer to be up and doing and hold up the flag of the cadet in the region. he charged him to do the right things to build the regional cadet corps and let the region become a force to recon with. He welcome him and his team at all times on behalf of the GOC and the command. The regional director of Intelligence Bureau also admonish him to make sure that the use of cadet uniform by unauthorized persons and people who are not in schools or members of the regional cadet are brought to a halt. The regional police second in command deputy commissioner of police (DCOP) Atibilla welcome him and advice that getting the Police involve in all their activities is important and must do well to consult in all matters. He wished him all the best on behalf of the regional police commander and command.
