The National Cadet Corps has kick-start the long awaited leadership training camp for youth members of the cadet corps from across the regions in Ghana. The one week camp kick-start with the cadet undergoing training relating to Time Management, Loyalty, Patriotism, Endurance, Survival and basic Military Discipline. The participants who are between the ages of 12 to 23 are from the basic school level to the tertiary level.
The camp is under the supervision of the Headmaster of Oda SHS, Mr. Evans Boafo and the National Cadet Coordinator General N.N Tettey-Amarteifio who is the commander for the period.
It is expected that the participants will have lectures on the key roles of various security services that is the Ghana Armed Forces, Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration and the National Security towards maintaining law and order.
The camp is expected to end on Friday 8th December 2023 with a parade.
