The National Cadet Corps mounted a guard of honor during the 3rd National Youth Conference during International Youth Day on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the Pentecost Convention Center Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region
The one hundred (100) contingent of cadets was driven from the Gomoa Potsin T I Ahmadiyya Navy Cadet Corps and corps of band. The parade was inspected by His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana and supported by Hon Mustapha Ussif, the Minister for Youth and Sports, during the opening ceremony.
Potsin T I Ahmadiyya Navy Cadet Corps in the Central Region has remained the National drill champion for the year 2024 and is headed by Hajia Zainab Adams, one of the vibrant heads of schools in Ghana .
The parade was under the command of cadet volunteer Naval Lt. Daniel Oppong.
