As part of the activities to commemorate the 2021 Alumni Lecture of the University of Ghana, the National Cadet Corps was honoured to participate in the lecture with a twenty (20) member team.
The team of cadets, made up of students, volunteers from the Greater Accra Region and staff officers from the headquarters, welcomed Hon Nana Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, the Chief of Staff- Office of the President with a full Quarter Guard commanded by cadet volunteer Staff Sargent Darko.
The Parade which was inspected by the Chief of Staff, Hon Nana Akosua Frema Osei-Opare and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo officially ushered in the Chief of Staff and H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana into the Great Hall for the historical lecture that was under the topic: Social Protection in Ghana: Are we on track?Â
