Ghana, get ready to roll up your sleeves!
The National Cadet Corps, in partnership with the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, is calling on all citizens to join the nationwide clean-up exercise on Saturday, June 6th, 2026.
This massive initiative is part of the country’s 66th Republic Day celebrations, aimed at promoting civic responsibility and community pride. The clean-up will take place simultaneously in all regional and district capitals across Ghana, making it a truly national effort with about thirty thousand (3000) cadet taking part that is one thousand, eight hundred and seventy five (1,875) in each region
The event underscores the importance of collective action in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. It’s a chance for individuals, communities, and organizations to come together and contribute to the development of Ghana.
