Some teachers (MIC) of the Central Regional Cadet Corps under the supervision of the Central Regional Cadet Command of the National cadet Corps Ghana are been taken through some basic Leadership Cadet training at the Achiase Jungle Warfare Training School. This is the second time such a training programme is taking place for the teachers. It is aimed at introducing to the teachers their role and what they are expected to do by encouraging student cadets in the respective schools to participate in cadet programmes. The teachers are train to understand what cadet is all about and why the security services train them to be Loyal and Discipline. They are also made to understand the corps duality of a teacher in charge (MIC) and the Cadet Administration at the Regional, Sector and Headquarters Command. The spirit of Discipline and accountability are inculcated in them to know that the cadet actives are not a money making venture as some teachers think but rather Discipline and training platform to bring out the honesty of an individual and the student cadet. The one week training which started on 12th March is expected to end on the 18th March, 2017. In all 21 teachers are undergoing the training programme. In a brief interview with the regional cadet coordinator Mr. Frank Kudroha he said that the training is very important to let the teachers (MIC) understand what the cadet go through at any training section especially during Camping. He believes that the MIC’s  will live to have more insight on the operation of the cadet and fill part of the cadet programmes at another level. Again to impact into their student cadets spirit of patriotism and volunteerism in build our motherland. The course commandant at the JWS where the training is taking place assures the participants that they will live there as very good and honest teachers to the Cadet Corps, their schools and the nation at as a whole.
