On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the National Cadet Corps leadership paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Haruna Iddrisu (MP), Minister for Education, and his deputy, Hon. Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, at the Ministry in Accra. The meeting aimed to update the Minister on the corps’ activities and current state.
National Cadet Coordinator General Nicholas Nii Tettey-Amarteifio briefed the Minister on the corps’ operations and future plans, assuring him of the corps’ commitment to excellence. The corps pledged unwavering support to become a force to reckon with.
In response, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu assured the cadet corps of the government’s total support, emphasizing the importance of discipline in schools. He urged the corps to take proactive measures at all educational levels to help achieve this goal. The Minister promised to closely monitor the corps’ activities and provide necessary government support and direction.
