The Greater Accra Regional Cadet Corps yesterday started their second regional cadet Camp for school cadet within the Greater Accra Region under the Theme: “NATIONALISM AND VOLUNTEERISM, THE EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR MOBILIZING FOR GHANA’S FUTURE THROUGH THE CADET CORPS”.
A total of about one hundred and seventy (170) student cadet from sister cadet corps representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Fire, CEPS of the GRS and the Immigration Cadets. participating Schools like Achimota Senior High, Presec Teshie Senior High, Accra Academy, ARMED Forces Senior High, Ebenezer Senior High, Accra Wesleyan Girls, Royal Pillar, Santa Mariel, Odorgonno Senior High, Odorgonno Basic School, Oxford Kingdom International, Chemu Senior High, Ada Senior Technical, Christ Great unique, Tema Manhean, Goodlife Foundation and Tinkabella International have participated.
The camp is expected to close by the 22nd April 2017 where the Hon. Regional Minister, Regional Director of Education and Some Regional Security heads are expected to close the camp.
