National Cadet Corps, Ghana

The second edition of the Community Peace Durbar came off in the Oti Region. The event took place at the Regional Coordinating Council Conference Hall on the 13^th of October, 2020.

Dignitaries present included the coordinating director. Mr. Andrews Nawil, the Municipal Police Commander Sup. Samuel Aboagye, the Regional Peace Council Chairman Mr. Joseph Adeti, a representative the Regional Chief Imam and various youth groups and students.

In a televised virtual message to the audience, the National Chief Imam and the Chairman of the Christian Council, entreated all to abide by the tenets of love for one another and eschew all forms of negative tendencies in destroying the peace of the nation.

During the questions and answering segment, the Municipal Police commander Sup. Samuel Aboagye assured the general public to have trust in the security services and fully corporate with them to be on top of issues before during and after the elections.

In his closing remarks, the National Cadet Coordinator General, thanked the gathering for coming and make sure that the message of peace goes down well with everyone.
