
The third edition of the collaboration between the National Peace Council and the Nation Cadet Corps got activated on the 14th of October, 2020 in the Upper East Regional Coordinating Council Conference Hall Bawku.
In his welcome address to the participants, the Public Relations Officer of the Regional Coordinating council welcomed all to the land of Bawku and entreated all present to carefully listen to the messages and ask bothering questions to clear all doubts of voters during the elections
Present at the Durbar included the Chief of Boko Naaba Ibrahim A. Aburi, Pusiga Chief Naaba Ibrahim Aguur, President of the Inter Unit Committee Naaba Adams Awini, Municipal Chief Imam Mutala Mohammed, Municipal PRO and representatives of Political Parties.
Virtual messages were heard from the National Chief Imam, Christian Council and the Ahamadiyah Muslim Mission, Ghana.
During questions and answers time, participants asked wide range of questions ranging from the existence of the Regional Peace Council, Roles and Rights of the citizens during elections, execution of duties of the Security Services and some Political Parties exploiting the Youth in some areas.
In his closing remarks, the National Cadet Coordinator General, Mr. Nicholas Nii Tettey Amarteifio thanked all participants, dignitaries present and admonished them their rightful attitude as good citizens of Ghana.
The National Pledge was recited by all at the end of the event.Â
