A team of National Cadet officials led by Coordinator General Nicholas Nii Tettey-Amarteifio and Allon Freiman, President of HCH, visited two schools and presented them with four basketballs each. They also inspected the basketball facilities of the schools (Achimota and PRESEC Legon).
As art of the collaboration between the National Cadet Corps, and Homecourt Hoops, a public charity based in the United States of America 501(c)(3) that works with corporate sponsors and grassroots partners to help grow basketball in Ghana as well as develop basketball in educational institutions, donated some basketballs to some senior high schools in Accra.
This forms part of the plans to see how best basketball courts in some basic selected Ghanaian schools could be renovated to international standards.
