On April 27, 2024, at 4BN Kumasi, the Central Sector Cadet Corps Headquarters held the 2nd Central Sector Cadet Corps SHS/TECH Drill and Band Competition as a part of the activities to select SHS/TECH school Finalists for the National Drill Competition.
The event which was held at the 4Th Infantry Battalion and Central Command respectively, gathered 40 schools from the sector out of which four (4) schools registered as spectators as expert judges from the 4th Infantry Battalion and Central command observed as the cadets demonstrated their precision, coordination, and musical talents in the drill and band performances.
The event was deemed a success as eight schools qualified for the National Band Competition and ten schools from the drill competition qualified for the National Drill Competition.
