Jacob A. M. Kor elected and inducted as Professional Fellow of CIDA

The outgoing Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Mr Jacob Aaworb-Nang Maabobr Kor, has been elected and inducted as a Professional Fellow into the Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration (CIDA).

The ceremony, which was held at the Pentecost University in Accra, saw Mr Kor and 20 others inducted into the CIDA fellowship.

The award which had the CIDA symbol on it, read: “This Fellowship Award is Presented to Jacob Aaworb-Nang Maabobr Kor, Fcida who was elected Professional Fellow of the Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration (FCIDA).’’

The fellowship certificate also read: “This is to certify that Jacob Aaworb-Nang Maabobr Kor was elected fellow of the Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration given under the common seal of the Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration and signed on behalf of the Council by the Chairman, Membership Committee.

The Director-General of the CIDA, Dr Charles Marcus, presented the certificate and fellowship award to Mr Kor for his immense contribution to education and for that matter, society.

Officially welcoming the new fellows, he said, just as CIDA had as its motto: “Leadership By Example”, it behoved all fellowship members to be examples of the best leaders in their various working environments.
