THE NATIONAL ORIENTATION COURSE 1-22 IN THE EASTERN REGION

The National Orientation Course 1-22 has successfully ended at Koforidua in the Eastern Region. The course which has about One Hundred (100) Voluntary Staff Officers, Sector and Regional Coordinators took off from 17th to 20th November,2022. Voluntary participants were taken through administrative procedures, time management, and leadership by example among others.

The Chief Staff Officer Derrick Nii Korle Clottey who was the course officer in charge took time to educate members on the types of uniforms and ranks they have to use. He reminded that apart from the regional coordinators, no one is to wear or use the rank of a cadet captain or its equivalents in their various regions. No past cadet should put on any rank and be walking in the town or any region without official permission from the regional cadet headquarters.

The Nat. Coordinator Gen. N.N Tettey-Amarteifio admonished all volunteers to use a cap on the Cadet Uniform and band the use of Beret. He congratulated all for going through the Orientation Program and wish them all the best. He encouraged them to be good ambassadors and that they are the photocopy of the Nation.

Four Coordinators were conferred as Regional Coordinators who have proven to be good by all standards. Namely the Oti Region, Western Region, Ahafo Region, and Central Region. The Northern regional Cadet Coordinator Dr. Attah Ibrahim was promoted to the rank of a Cadet Captain whiles the Western Regional Cadet Coordinator Gladstone handed over his appointment to Officer Vincent Appiah to take up the other appointment.

The Coordinator reminded them that these are difficult times in the country and all must manage to control programs and activities. He wished them all the best as they go back to their various regions
